Toshiba laptop wireless validating identity

Thank you so much for taking your time and knowledge to support my concerns.

When this happens, an ip address configuration is being obtained using the Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP).

I just re-installed XP on it and I am trying to get the computer online via WIFI (WPA-PSK / AES).

When I try to connect I get the following error: “Windows Was Unable To Find A Certificate To Log You On To The Network”. I am aware of the following answer: XP Wi Fi connect failure: "Windows Was Unable To Find A Certificate To Log You On To The Network". I did try to disable the "IEEE 802.1x authentication for this network".

Unfortunately, the option is greyed out there I can't disable it.
